Telefilm Canada announced ETERNAL SPRING (長春) was named Canada’s Entry for the 2023 OSCARS International Best Feature category!
It is the first time Canada has ever selected a documentary, an animated film, or a Mandarin-language film to represent it at the Academy Awards. The entire ETERNAL SPRING (長春) team is thrilled and humbled by this immense honour!
This great news follows the film winning 13 festival honours (7 jury and 6 audience awards) since its premiere at Thessaloniki in March. This included double-wins at both Hot Docs and Thessaloniki.
