Lofty Sky is seeking a Games Community Manager/Marketing Coordinator to help with the launch of an upcoming game title and documentary film release.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves video games, animation, and film.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with people on social media, discord, reddit, building and nurturing our various social communities.
- Managing and creating social media calendars for multiple company properties.
- Actively advocating properties on social media, engaging with fans, customers, media outlets, and influencers.
- Scheduling, tracking, and submitting to festivals and awards.
- Preparing promotional and marketing materials.
- Executing various marketing campaigns and content.
- Ability to analyze results of marketing campaigns and provide thoughts on how to improve.
- Keen eye to identifying trends and key competitors in the market.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Clear verbal and written communication skills: ability to write in different tones of voice.
- Must be very organized, able to keep track of multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge content marketing and social media platforms (including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, Reddit and Instagram)
- Attention to detail.
- Is a team player.
- Goal-oriented and respect deadlines.
- Must be eligible to work in Ontario and based in Ontario for tax credit purposes even though this is a remote position.
- Past community management experience and social media experience is desired.
Bonus Skills:
- Working knowledge of Discord
- Experience with Photoshop/ InDesign/ Premiere Pro
- Knowledge of indie games and the indie games/gaming industry
- Knowledge of the documentary space and festival circuit
Contract length: 6 months (with possibility to extend)
